Tamang Heritage Trekking

Tamang Heritage Trekking Overview

Nepal is home of many ethnic mountain people. Tamang heritage trekking offer is the best opportunity to visit the cultural Tamang village in Nepal. These people have Mongolian features, and emigrated to the mountains from around the time of Genghis Khan. Some of their names include Gurung, Sherpa, Rai, Magar and Tamang. The Tamang people settled in the high mountains of the Himalayas and are noted for being strong porters of the mountains. They are renowned for their friendliness and welcome visitors into their villages. This is an eight day trekking, from your journey from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trail passes through rhododendron forests, quaint villages and a chance to soak in a hot spring at Tatopani. This trek is not well traveled by visitors, who miss great views of Tibet and the Ganesh Himal mountians. Global Axis Travels is proud to be able to offer Tamanag heritage trekking. We can provide you with a competent, government-licensed guide and porter to help you on this tramang heritage trekking trail.
